I get the feeling you think there some sort of perfect English grammar. There simply isn't. There are some basics like SVO. Go to any store and I would bet almost anyone you meet will have fairly bad grammar. Colloquial English is not about rules. It's about feelings. If you want to improve your grammar, I would suggest a good TV show that has lots of dialogue. TV show writers tend to have very good grammar. You won't understand everything said in the show, but you will pick up the rhythm of the language and you can watch how words are inflected to give emotional feelings. I would also advise reading short stories. Short story writers must be concise and that usually means good grammar. Gather has many good short story writers. Marge, Sheila Deeth, Fred Hose and others have very entertaining short stories. I would suggest you read maybe 25 short stories and then write your own. You will be teaching yourself grammar in this way. You don't need a textbook. What you need is the resolve to acclimate patiently into the everyday world that surrounds you. Be within yourself a part and cause of your learning.
